Refund & Cancellation

This policy describes the current AURIX SHIELD subscription and refund approach. Commercial terms may be updated as the service evolves.

Effective Date: September 28, 2026

1. Overview

AURIX SHIELD may offer Free and Pro plans. This policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled for paid AURIX SHIELD subscriptions.

The specific price and plan terms shown to the user at the time of purchase apply to that purchase.

2. Free Plan

The Free plan does not require a paid subscription. Users may stop using the Free plan at any time. If there is no paid subscription, there is no subscription payment to refund.

3. Pro Subscription

Pro is a paid subscription when offered and purchased by the user. The applicable price, billing frequency, plan features, quotas, and commercial terms are presented to the user before purchase.

4. Cancelling a Subscription

Users may cancel their paid subscription using the cancellation mechanism provided by AURIX SHIELD.

After cancellation:

  • Future recurring charges should stop according to the applicable subscription/billing system
  • Access to paid features may continue until the end of the applicable paid period where the subscription system supports this
  • Access may change according to the applicable plan terms

5. Refund Requests

Cancellation and refund are separate actions. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically create a refund.

Refund requests may be submitted to: billing@aurixshield.com

A refund request should include:

  • Account email
  • Relevant subscription/account information
  • Date or transaction information if available
  • Reason for the request

Note: Do not include or send sensitive payment credentials by email.

6. How Refund Requests Are Reviewed

Refund requests may be reviewed based on factors including:

  • The applicable plan and purchase terms
  • Whether the charge was authorized
  • Whether the user was charged incorrectly
  • Duplicate charges
  • Billing or technical errors
  • Applicable consumer rights
  • Circumstances surrounding the request
  • Any specific refund terms presented at purchase

7. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges

Users should contact billing@aurixshield.com if they believe:

  • They were charged incorrectly
  • They were charged more than once
  • A cancellation did not process correctly
  • Their subscription status does not match their payment status

AURIX SHIELD may investigate billing records and correct confirmed billing errors.

8. Unauthorized Charges

If a user believes a payment was unauthorized, they should contact billing@aurixshield.com as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, users may also need to contact their payment provider. Do not request or provide passwords, full card numbers, CVV codes, private keys, or other sensitive credentials by email.

9. Service Issues

AURIX SHIELD is a security SaaS, and:

  • Scans can fail
  • Third-party infrastructure can experience problems
  • Security analysis can be incomplete
  • Individual features can become temporarily unavailable
  • AI responses can be unavailable or inaccurate

Service interruption does not automatically create a refund entitlement unless required by applicable law or the applicable purchase terms.

10. Account Termination

Cancelling a subscription is different from deleting an account. If a user wants account deletion, they may contact: privacy@aurixshield.com.

Please review our Privacy Policy for information on data retention and deletion.

11. Changes to Paid Plans

AURIX SHIELD may change pricing, features, quotas, or plan structure in the future. Where required, users will receive appropriate notice of material changes.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or waived under applicable law.
